September was quite busy month for Fims Alliance, you can see some of the activities we were involved in during the early autumn days: Asia-Europe Environmental Forum in Munich, a youth exchange Young Leaders for Social Inclusion in Berlin, conducting European Parliament simulation as part of youth exchange Together for a Better Future in Miskolc and finding out ways for stopping the violence at youth exchange Youth in Charge in Sannicolau Mare.

No BUT Bringing Youth Together

Fims Alliance participated in a feasibility visit "No BUT Bringing Youth Together" in Pawlowice, Poland between 29 June to 01 July 2010, hosted by Klub Europejski „INTEREUR". The primary aim of the project was to lay the cornerstone for a long-term partnership of the participating youth organizations within the framework of the Youth in Action programme.

As a direct outcome of the meeting was planning of a youth exchange, which will be carried out by the Italian partner of the venture. The expected activity dates are 05 March to 13 March 2011 with the venue in Sicily (Italy).

Fims Alliance has also added a picture from the event to its photo gallery, filed under 'Projects'.

Final call for YouPEC2010!

Have you heard of YouPEC? YouPEC is the YOUth PErspective Conference on Biodiversity, a unique seminar that will be bringing 150 people from all over Europe to Belgium from the 1st to the 6th of July, to learn about, discuss and share knowledge and experience on biodiversity. We opted to choose biodiversity as the main theme of this conference, as 2010 has been declared the International Year of Biodiversity, and because 2010 is the year of the Belgian presidency of the European Union (July-December). But we will not only be learning and discussing about biodiversity, we will also develop a Youth Perspective on Biodiversity, a policy recommendation to the European policy makers!
